Reviews about Love's Travel Stop
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆December 31, 2019, by Kenna FinlinsonI travel a lot and Love's is my favorite truck stop to visit but after I stop there tomorrow to speak to a manager, I will never stop at this location again. My husband and I always spend a lot of money when we go here and this location is just a few miles from home so we visit this one often and that makes my experience so much worse. My husband and I walked around the store for a while so I could give him an idea of what I want for my upcoming birthday as we were getting ready to leave the store I decided to use the restroom. Some the employees watched me very closely, to the point I was uncomfortable. When I got back to my husband I had changed my mind about the thing I was going to buy and had picked out something else, when I was putting the stuff back one of the employees kept waking past me talking on the phone describing what I looked like and was wearing to the person on the other line I thought he was being a creep so decided to get the hell out of there he continued to follow me so I didn't but anything and just decided to leave, as I was getting to my car my husband yelled and headed back towards the door to the gas station, when I turned to see why I saw the employee on the phone peeking through a crack in the door reading off my license plate number and the make and model of my car. He ran away from my husband so my husband came back to the car and I told him about what happened inside so he went in to talk to them. The female cashier lied and said she didn't know where he went that she didn't know him despite them all standing behind the counter talking. He told her to call the cops then so we could get this straightened out and she just looked at him dumbfounded. So he came back outside, we waited for a minute then drove home. On the drive home my husband decided he was still frustrated about it and wanted to talk to corporate. He called the store and the male employee who had followed me answered the phone (he was the only guy we saw working the whole time we were there.) he told my husbabd the manager was busy taking to the police and wouldn't be available for a while so he asked for corporates phone number and he said he couldn't find it and told my husband he'd have better luck looking it up online. My husband asked if he could at least get the store number and he said he didn't know it and just kept making excuses. Worst experience I've ever had at any truck stop or gas station for that matter and I've been to a lot. When we finally got a hold of costumer service the lady was very helpful, polite and professional. I'm going to make sure that is recognized. I still will stop at Love's and continue to be a frequent costumer and still spend a lot of money there but I will never again go to that location and I will advise everyone I know to avoid it as well.
